This a bin, in Premier Pro you can create bins which hold all of your clips in one section so you can find this easier for editing floor personnel can find them, in this screen shot you can see that we've expanded the bin allowing you to see what film clips are, this also so allows people to to see what they want in the bins and what will be added in the movie. as well when they call they call then "bins" they're referring to when we had films reals were hanged over gins so they wouldn't get dust on any of the f ilm strips   In this screen shot we can see that I am using the colour pallet to change the hue of current image and allow me to lighten darken or even put a different coloured tint over the clip. The reason why you want to change the colour is because you may want to give the feeling a nice warm feeling by adding a yellow or a red, and if you want a cool feeling you would probably add a blue or a green.           ...

continuity

At 5-29 seconds into the clip it opens up to a image of the gang looking around as the camera switches between the main characters and the other gang using a eye line match shot to create the effect that they're surrounded by this group At 31-41 seconds in, the camera pans across a street as it follows the gang as they running across the road then jump cutting back to show that they're being chased by this other gang as they run after them seemingly with malicious intent Then at 48-1:09 seconds it has them stopping as it uses the shot reverse shot t o show that the gang are being chased down as it then does a close up on the at the main gangs point of view using a eye line match shot to give the other gang an intimidating feeling as if they're inferior and weak. Then at 1:19 it then also uses shot reverse again to show that the gang is still being chased and that they're still right on their tail giving another sense of intimidation giving the audience a...

my continuity

In the first shot of this we should have a fade in instead of having it just begin and have no build up to it. its also a semi close up as its quite close to Louis opening the door then walking through it this is also like an establishing shot as it shows where hes walking through 2 seconds in we put in a match on match action of Louis walking through the door with another close up shot of him going through to the other side of the door and keeps going, we should have also made it so it has no edit and it would of been better by it having a fade in or any type of cut into the shot At 4 seconds in it then cuts to another establishing shot that shows a long hallway with me walking down it , we break a continuity rule here as it has Louis entering in from the right not from the left which it should of been, we also have another jump cut as we did not add a transition effect he then walks down the corridor as he then bumps into me and it cuts to us bouncing off each other. A...

The package Production during production of our short film, we had to film things out of order so we can make our job easier.   we first filmed the estableshing shot that set the scene of the short film we then had to go back inside and film the first actual scene of the film which was someone dropping the note on the floor and then filming someone picking it up and walking off with it, we film all of our chase scenes which we had to re-take them several times, when we got to filming the shots with us reading and seeing the note in his hand. we also had to retake some shots as one of our crew had had his hair dyed and if we continued with the normal shots it would'uv broke continuity  Post production whilst in post we put together our film and making sure that all the  shots lined up, we also made sure we added some transition shots that allow the cuts to look natural and not janky, in one instants we had a scene where one person in one shit was typing an...

My second premiere pro editing exercise

Image
We first got some shots by having to get a camera and then set up a tripod, we also used several different shots that we needed for our little short film. we also were taught the Photography triangle which contains, ISO, Aperture, and Shutter speed   In this first exercise we learnt how to shoot and string together some of our video clips and then learn how to add sound and transitions to the sequences. We first started to collect footage and sound clips for our pieces of work and then we put them into premiere pro and started to add certain clips. after that we then had to add a fade in at the start of the project to make it seem more moody and atmospheric intro we also had to add the artist of the music we then also added more clips to string them together, we then added some fade in and fade out effects that gives it a more of a professional feel, then we added some back ground music to the project and give it more of an atmosphere and give a professional feel, ...
