my continuity

In the first shot of this we should have a fade in instead of having it just begin and have no build up to it. its also a semi close up as its quite close to Louis opening the door then walking through it this is also like an establishing shot as it shows where hes walking through

2 seconds in we put in a match on match action of Louis walking through the door with another close up shot of him going through to the other side of the door and keeps going, we should have also made it so it has no edit and it would of been better by it having a fade in or any type of cut into the shot

At 4 seconds in it then cuts to another establishing shot that shows a long hallway with me walking down it
, we break a continuity rule here as it has Louis entering in from the right not from the left which it should of been, we also have another jump cut as we did not add a transition effect he then walks down the corridor as he then bumps into me and it cuts to us bouncing off each other.

At 10 seconds into the video me an Louis had to change clothes as we had to re shoot some scene the next day so we have broken a continuity rule, the close up shot then ends as we bounce off each other and then we land on the walls.

At 11 seconds we then have a unnecessary jump cut to me starting to chased Louis down the corridor as we then cut to another camera shot we had the cut because we stopped filling then we started filming again for the chase scene so that is why the cut is there

15 seconds in we then have another jump cut to a medium shot of me an Louis staring at each other as we've just came to a stop as Louis turns around to look at me in shock and awe, we should have added another transition effect to this shot but we again didn't.

At 18 seconds Louis then looks at me and then it cuts to me which is an eye line match showing us what he is looking at, we should of added cuts to the scenes of Louis look at me so it looks more smooth and polished.

At 19 seconds through to 21 seconds in it has several cuts with close ups to me and Louis doing the classic "bro" hug as we walk our separate ways subverting the audiences narrative expectations and then the short film ends on a cut to black.
